BAR MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the overall activity of the Bar;
  • Develops and implements annual plan the Bar;
  • Establishing and ensuring the highest service standards;
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others;
  • Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service;
  • Managing and training the Bar staff;
  • Responds quickly and proactively to employee’s concerns;
  • Collecting feedback and complaints from guests and implementing the same to enhance service quality and profitability;
  • Coordinating with other departments of hotel for events and day-to-day operations;
  • Planning, forecasting and inventory management of Bar equipments;
  • Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations;
  • Have to keep their eyes on a lot of elements like food standards, costs, safety, etc.

Requirements:

  • Five years of experience in managing Bar or Restaurant similar role;
  • Customer oriented approach;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;
  • Good organizational and time-management skills;
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS);
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded;
  • Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English language and a second language would be preferably;
