BAR MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Managing the overall activity of the Bar;
- Develops and implements annual plan the Bar;
- Establishing and ensuring the highest service standards;
- Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others;
- Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service;
- Managing and training the Bar staff;
- Responds quickly and proactively to employee’s concerns;
- Collecting feedback and complaints from guests and implementing the same to enhance service quality and profitability;
- Coordinating with other departments of hotel for events and day-to-day operations;
- Planning, forecasting and inventory management of Bar equipments;
- Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations;
- Have to keep their eyes on a lot of elements like food standards, costs, safety, etc.
Requirements:
- Five years of experience in managing Bar or Restaurant similar role;
- Customer oriented approach;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;
- Good organizational and time-management skills;
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS);
- Guest-oriented and service-minded;
- Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English language and a second language would be preferably;
